It all started with…

“Would you help us?” ~Director of IJM Mobilization

What is the greatest hindrance to rescuing girls out of trafficking? The the lack of quality after-care homes. After meeting with the IJM Mobilization director, he connected our team to the “Ninja Nuns.” We affectionately call them ninjas because they assist the NGO agents on rescues, running alongside them to save girls. When they first joined the effort, the nuns were told that their lives could be in danger. They replied, “Our lives do not belong to us. We gave them to God already.”

Sister Lissi, the head “ninja,” soon shared their dream of expanding their facility so they could care for young girls rescued from sex slavery. We expressed our desire to make a difference in India. At hearing this, she stretched out her hands to us, saying, “Join with us in this rescue of little ones.” Within days, the project was born.
